Everyone knows an empty restaurant is not a good sign. Is the food bad? the service's no good? etc, etc. We know for a fact that this place serves decent Indonesian food. During our last few visits, it was buzzling with lunch crowd. But on our last visit, there were no one, zero until we arrived. Did we missed the lunch crowd? Food still tasted authentic! To my knowledge there're no Malaysian restaurants in Hungary, so I rely on this place to get a dosage of spicy food to cure my cravings :) Let's just hope its a phase and the regulars will return in time *fingers crossed*

I'm participating Internet shut down day which is today (see side bar for more info.) . to deal with my withdrawal, we planned a day trip to another city to watch movie "300" . Will check out your entries on sunday. Have a nice weekened, everyone!

Coffee, can't get enough of it! I start my mornings with coffee, time as if stops, just me and the aromatic (instant) brew.. I sip and wished it lasts forever!

If coffee is not for you, the machine offers fruit juices as well..at a bargain price of less than USD1 / Euro 1. I think the lower price is because of it's location inside the school premises.

I've chosen one of our fave. hang out places for today's theme, an antikvárium (Hungarian for second-hand book shop) . Books found in an antikvárium may not be of a special value or from olden times (perhaps some) but we enjoy browsing in it. It was our first visit to this particular shop and the owner is a friendly chap (who keeps talking!) . I'm especially happy with my 2 "new" books :)) we'll definitely be back for more gems.

Are those iso settings? sounds silly , huh? but there are many dials and i'm still a manual dummy. The (not so rare) beauty has been sitting in the cupboard gathering dust, i thought why not put life back to the classic camera. Calling anyone who has any idea how to operate the FED2...any kind of help is appreciated :)

1. of all shots, i like this the most. Coincidentally we were going off the stairs and she was rushing

2. the details are eye-chatching, i wouldnt wear such a design though ;)

3. many people were passing and i tried to focus and shoot quickly, fortunately not out of focus :D

After a dozen (begining to be bored!) panning shots , I have to settle for this as the "best" of the batch until the next attempt. I'll need to practice to smoothen the 3-steps panning movement..and also can the cars move faster?

it was done on purpose, the over exposure ..I thought it will work well for yellow. As usual, I didnt study what's the technique etc, just following my hunch . what do u think?

the backdrop of thr stage has so many banners of the sponsers that we're lucky to caught this black canvas. I did tune the shadow to hide any distracting element.
She was fantastic and multi-talented performing the salsa, samba and belly dance!

She's Timcsi, my friend's niece. She was up on a slide at the playground looking down when I caught this.
The shot is imperfect in many ways but instead of scrapping it, i thought a touch of sepia and with the the increase of highlight to create a dreammy effect. Hmmm..am quite satisfied with the result, what do you think?
